Biography
In the year 2012, amidst the foreboding whispers of an impending shift in the Mayan calendar, Henning Hinck birthed the enigmatic entity known as Voidscream. With a mission to weave intricate and unyielding psychedelic landscapes, he melds dark ambient soundscapes with breakcore-infused structures, creating a sonic journey that defies convention.
His sonic evolution reached new heights with the release of “Jund” (Anomalistic Records, 2018), where Voidscream delved deeper into shadowy realms, entwining pulsating Psy Basslines with brooding soundscapes. Collaborating with Antagon of Damaru Records on tracks like “Terrastomper” from “Jund” and the haunting hymn “Abrupt Decay” from “Cadaverous Bloom,” his vision of modern Darkpsy took form.
Drawing inspiration from a myriad of genres including DarkPsy, HiTech, Breakcore, Noise, Crossbreed, and Industrial, Voidscream’s sound remains unyieldingly experimental and uniquely his own, always delivering an unrelenting sonic assault.
Building upon his legacy, Voidscream’s latest offering, “Grixis,” seamlessly integrates IDM sounds into his sonic tapestry, slowing the tempo but intensifying the depth of his sonic exploration. Once again, the mastering prowess of the esteemed Antagon ensures sonic perfection, maintaining their symbiotic musical journey.
Venturing further into the abyss, Voidscream crafted the EP “Simic” on Maykurnaddur Records, showcasing a groove-laden modern Darkpsy aesthetic without compromising on authenticity or depth.

Im Jahr 2012, inmitten der Vorahnung einer bevorstehenden Verschiebung des Maya-Kalenders, brachte Henning Hinck das rätselhafte Wesen Voidscream hervor. Wieder einmal sorgt das Mastering des geschätzten Antagon für klangliche Perfektion und setzt die symbiotische musikalische Reise fort.
